Meet up with other people in the industry from Newcastle and unwind with like-minded people. Bits and pixels is held at least once a month, somewhere in Newcastle. Any designer or developer can come to our events, and we don't care what field you're from whether it be graphic design or PHP programming - if you've got something to do with the design or web industry you will fit in.

This month, we're going to discuss Paul's talk from last month and Anthony is going to give us a run-down on the processes behind Fixoutlook.org - It will be chock full of design and coding goodness.

This month, Paul Hempsall will be doing the first ever talk at Bits & Pixels - 'The Backyard' - a behind-the-scenes look at Lake Macquarie City Council's Intranet. The presentation starts at 2:15pm and we'll be doing it downstairs at the Grand. It's going to be great! We hope more people will want to share their knowledge and experience with the Bits & Pixels crew. We have a projector and all of the goodies you need to pull of a professional presentation.
